Welcome to Our Virtual Support & Social Group for Young Adults with Level 1 Autism / Asperger’s!
Are you a young adult (ages 20-32) living in New Jersey who identifies as autistic, with Level 1 Autism or Asperger’s? Are you seeking a supportive, judgment-free space to build social confidence, develop communication skills, and connect with like-minded peers? You are not alone!
Led by Speech-Language Pathologist and Autism Specialist, our virtual group is designed to empower and uplift young adults navigating the unique challenges that come with autism.
What We Offer:
Safe, Neurodiversity-Affirming Environment: A welcoming space where you can be your authentic self.
Social Skills Development: Learn practical strategies for small talk, making friends, setting boundaries, and more.
Peer Support & Connection: Build lasting friendships with others who understand your experiences.
Executive Function & Life Skills: Time management, organizing daily tasks, and managing sensory challenges.
Emotional Regulation & Self-Advocacy: Develop confidence in expressing needs and managing social stress.
Group Highlights:
Weekly 60-minute virtual sessions via Google Meet
Small group setting (4-6 participants) to ensure individualized attention
Interactive discussions, role-play scenarios, and real-life problem-solving
Led by a professional who understands and values neurodiverse perspectives

How to Get Started: The group will start in Spring or Summer 2025. Each group session will $50. Spots are limited to maintain an intimate, supportive atmosphere.
